Terms of service
Trice Technologies Holdings Inc
Effective
The terms for using Trice, including accounts, business content, AI-assisted features, payment conditions, and the Trice SMS program.
1. About these terms
These Terms of service govern your use of the Trice websites, applications, workspaces, and related services provided by Trice Technologies Holdings Inc ("Trice," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply when you create an account or use our services. If you use Trice for a business or another organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization.
Please read these terms and our Privacy policy before using Trice. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the services. A separate written agreement with Trice controls where it expressly conflicts with these terms. These terms do not replace any rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Trice is intended for business use by adults who can enter a binding agreement. You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, and keep your account and sign-in methods secure. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for the people you invite, the permissions you give them, and activity you authorize through your account. Use only accounts, workspaces, and information you are permitted to access. We may need to verify your identity or authority before changing access or acting on an account request.
3. What Trice does
Trice helps businesses organize work, customer and team information, communications, documents, and related business records. Some features use AI to interpret requests, summarize information, prepare drafts, or suggest actions. Features may vary by account, connected provider, location, and availability.
You remain responsible for your business decisions and for checking information before relying on it. Review estimates, invoices, calculations, messages, extracted file data, and other outputs before approving, sending, paying, or otherwise acting on them. A preview or proposed action is not proof that a record has been imported, a message delivered, a payment completed, or another external action finished.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in the information, files, messages, and other content you provide. You give Trice permission to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content as needed to provide and maintain the services, follow your instructions and settings, and meet the purposes described in our Privacy policy. This includes processing through service providers and sharing with people you authorize in your workspace.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to provide content and contact other people through Trice. Do not upload information you are not entitled to use or send unlawful or unsolicited messages. Remove unnecessary sensitive information from files and requests. Closing your account or removing content does not necessarily remove business records that another authorized account controls or records that must be retained as described in our Privacy policy.
Trice and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, design, and branding. These terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of it.
5. Fees and payment
Applicable prices, usage limits, billing frequency, trial credits, renewal terms, and payment conditions will be presented in the service or in an offer or agreement before you accept them. You are responsible for charges you authorize under those conditions and any applicable taxes. A feature description or AI response does not by itself authorize a charge.
Cancellation, unused credits, and refund conditions are governed by the offer or agreement you accepted and applicable law. Contact us if a charge appears incorrect. Third-party payment, financial, or other connected services may require their own terms, fees, eligibility checks, and approvals. A screen or suggestion in Trice is not a guarantee of financing, credit, insurance, or payment.
6. AI-assisted features
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular situation. It may resemble output provided to someone else. You must review it, confirm important facts, and decide whether you have permission to use or share it. Trice is not a substitute for qualified legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
When you use AI-assisted features, relevant requests, conversation context, records, or file content may be processed by external AI service providers as described in our Privacy policy. Do not treat an AI response as authorization to access information, contact someone, or make a commitment on another person's behalf.
7. Connected services
If you connect another service or ask Trice to send information to another recipient, you are responsible for the connection and permissions you authorize. Third-party services are provided by their operators under their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability, processing, and delivery may be outside Trice's control. Disconnecting a service does not necessarily delete information already sent to it.
8. Trice SMS program
Trice Technologies Holdings Inc operates the Trice text messaging program. Depending on the conversation and the options you choose, messages may include replies to your questions, account or setup assistance, business or workspace updates, notifications you request, and support. The program is for service-related communication, not third-party advertising.
- Consent: Recurring messages require your separate opt-in. Providing a phone number, accepting these terms, or creating an account does not automatically enroll you. Texting us allows replies to that conversation; it does not by itself authorize unrelated recurring messages. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
- Frequency and cost: Message frequency varies with your interactions, account activity, and the notifications you request. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Trice does not charge a separate per-message fee for this SMS program.
- Stop: Reply STOP to the Trice number to opt out. You may receive one confirmation of your request. Further program messages require renewed opt-in.
- Help: Reply HELP or email support@trice.live. Tell us if you change or lose access to your phone number.
- Delivery: Messaging depends on carrier and network availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on SMS or Trice for emergency communications.
Read our SMS privacy protections and the SMS program terms. These general terms do not expand any SMS permission you have given. SMS enrollment is separate from agreement to these general terms.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use Trice to break the law, infringe another person's rights, impersonate someone, send spam or abusive content, distribute malicious code, interfere with the service, or access another person's data without permission. Do not evade access controls, usage limits, or required approvals. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your business, records, employees, customers, and communications.
10. Availability and warranties
We may update features and perform maintenance. Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, the services are provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, complete or accurate outputs, or a particular business result. Keep your own copies of records that you need to retain.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Trice is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the services, including lost profits, revenue, business opportunities, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any other liability or consumer protection that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
12. Suspension and ending use
You may stop using Trice and request account closure through available account controls or by contacting support. Authorized charges and obligations incurred before closure may still apply. Access to a business workspace may depend on that business's administrator.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, unlawful activity, nonpayment, or a material breach of these terms. Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Data handling after closure is described in our Privacy policy. Provisions that by their nature need to continue, including accrued payment obligations, content rights needed for retained records, and liability limitations, survive termination.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will identify the current effective date. We will provide additional notice of material changes when required by law or an applicable agreement, and obtain further agreement where required. Changes do not remove rights or obligations that arose before they took effect.
